Welcome to the Spring Trail Tigertastic Thanksgiving 1.5 Mile Event

This is an awesome curbside and virtual event to get you in shape for the holidays ahead! There are prizes to be won and much more! See below for all the great events planned for you and your family.

Tigertastic Thanksgiving 1.5 Event

We are pleased to announce that Spring Trail Elementary PTO is organizing its first Tigertastic Thanksgiving 1.5 Mile Run/Walk. This debut event will get you interested in cross country running, which races 1.5 miles in competitive events at the junior high school level locally.
This year the event will be curbside and virtual. The happenings will consist of a dine out, a Zoom Zumba session, and one-and-a-half mile anywhere anytime race, and post-race yoga on Zoom! Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners, the top three walkers and three spectators will receive spirit awards. So, if exercising is not your thing, make sure to sen pictures in that show how you cheer for runners and you can still win a prize! Winners will be announced on the virtual social media and awards will be available in a similar virtual format. All awards will be twenty dollar Target gift cards!!
After Thursdays Dine Out Kick off event, participants will then be free to pick their own course and send times and pictures to photos@springtrailpto.org. The event closes on Sunday November 22nd at 11AM. Treadmills, indoor or outdoor tracks, stair steppers, rowing machines and anything else that you can measure at 1.5 miles with a step counter all qualify. All events other than walking will compete with the runners. There are no sign up fees and you do not have to register., the email accounts used to send in your times and pictures will be used to deliver prizes.

Dine Out at Pietanzas

Start off with some great food at Pietanzas in Bartlett. This is also a fundraiser that gives back 20% of the proceeds to Spring Trail PTO!

This event kicks off on Thursday Nov. 19th. Just mention Spring Trail PTO and your curbside and contactless delivery orders will qualify.
Zoom Zumba

Now it does not get any more fun than this! You and your family will have a blast on this virtual event.

Zoom Yoga

To close this year's event there will be a yoga zoom session on Sunday November 22nd at 10am. The zoom meeting will open at 10am and yoga will begin by 10:30.
